Private browser checks

Image authenticity tools

These focused tools inspect JPEG, PNG and WebP container structure locally in your browser. They report whether recognized metadata blocks or C2PA markers are present; they do not turn absence into evidence of AI generation.

Tool boundaries

A container clue is not an authenticity verdict.

Local by design. These tools read the selected image in browser memory and do not send it to What Made It?.

Structure, not hidden claims. They report whether supported container blocks or markers exist. They do not display personal EXIF values or silently infer identity.

Verification still matters. Metadata can be edited and C2PA markers require cryptographic validation. Use the result to choose a next step, not to label a person or image.
