Start with the file. Leave room for uncertainty.
Ask for the original. A screenshot or downloaded copy may lose file details and change the image a detector sees.
Compare different clues. Visual patterns, file details, signed records and the source of the image answer different questions.
“Not enough information” is a useful answer. If clues disagree, do not force a yes-or-no result.
